This series of autorefractors features the Pupil Zone Measuring Method which expands the refraction measurement area from 2 mm up to 4 mm in diameter, depending on the patient's pupil size, to get the most accurate measurement.

These autorefractors also use a Super Luminescent Diode which uses a sharper, clearer measurement ring which can penetrate cataracts and IOLs.

3D Alignment (ARK-530 and ARK-560) make measurements simple for even new operators. Simply align the head with the patient's eye and the autorefractor will take over: tracking the patient's eye until optimal positioning is achieved and acquisition is triggered.

The ARK-560 allows a quick checkup of patient's refractive error by allowing monocular subjective measurements and comparing these to the objective measurement. Assessment of near correction can be performed as well.
