PD from 30 cm to infinity can be calculated by computer with one measurement. Measurements of the PD do not have to be adjusted according to the viewing distance. With one measurement, PD from 30 cm to infinity can be promptly calculated and displayed at 8 different distances, using a microcomputer.
A large, easy-to-see digital display is employed, eliminating misread and erroneous results. Measurement can be carried out in fine steps with a precision of better than 0.5 mm. A new liquid crystal hairline display is used, offering highly reliable measurement data.
An automatic power-off function prevents this equipment from wasting electric power. The voltage level can be observed at any time by means of a battery monitor, which also allows early recognition when battery replacement is required.
R/L Eye Shutter Switch made it possible to shut the one window at a single touch. Measurement of both eyes together, or either eye singly, can be carried out easily and effectively.
